GEORGIA LEGISLATIVE ALERT!
A Message From Robb Pitts
CASINO GAMBLING RESOLUTION INTRODUCED
|
|
Last week, Representative Kathy Ashe, District 2, Post 42, introduced HR 1421, which if approved would rightfully allow voters to decide whether or not casino gambling should be in Georgia. The bill was referred to the House Regulated Industries Committee.
It is imperative that you let your state elected officials know if you support this initiative, which would provide additional funding for public safety, local infrastructure projects and state funding for the HOPE scholarship and Pre-K programs.
If you have any questions you can reach me at (404) 730-8210. Representative Ashe can be contacted at (404) 656-5064. Contact information for all members of the General Assembly is available at http://www.legis.state.ga.us/
Thank you!
Robb Pitts
