GA-Allstars Prep Optional 1st Place Team

Optional team, coached by Becky Oppenheimer, Kim Long, Elena Bereznev and Heather Ould also took home the 1st Place Team title, with a team score of 108.35. About this talented group, head coach Becky Oppenheimer excitedly said, “I was very proud and pleased with their performance and success, because for most of these girls, this was their first meet competing brand new skills. But they pulled it together extremely well!”

Another GA-Allstars athlete, Rebekah Bennetts, a first-year Level 9 USA gymnast, was extremely happy that she took first place on beam in event finals, with a 9.5. She also took home silver honors in  the finals all-around with a 36.675.

The grand finale and culmination of the event was that 15 of the talented GA-Allstars gymnasts took first place on individual events or all-around and 16 gymnasts had the honor of qualifying for event finals, which was held on Sunday, making the day even more rewarding and successful!
